I have Googled this to Hell and back and done all the 'workarounds' you can find... but I CANNOT get my local music files to stream on my Android app. HTC One M8. Have turned all firewalls off, logged out/in, made all playlists available offline (even though I shouldn't have to do this) - only the Spotify songs get synced to my phone... none of the local files do. They show up in the list in a playlist I made, but they're grayed out unavailable for play.
Am I completely missing something? Do the local files need to be in a playlist of their OWN? I really don't wanna have to use Google Music to create separate playlists for my local music when I'm listening to music on my phone (keywords: away from my PC - all local files work just fine on PC)

So I have a few local files that I've put onto my phone from my PC. Recently, I added a new song from local files but it won't go over to my phone. I've followed all the steps like having them on the same WiFi, having them connected and stuff like that. I've even reinstalled Spotify on mobile and tried downloading the whole playlist multiple times but now I have lost all my local files on my phone.
Anyone have any idea why they won't go over to my phone? I've followed every step but nothing is happening.
